Born and raised in Kumamoto, Japan, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Tsukuba. During my undergraduate studies, I worked in an organelle cell biology lab and an Alzheimer's disease research lab for two years, as well as organizing a monthly science cafe. I then completed a Master's degree in Science Communication at the University of Manchester and a Master's program in Technical Communication and Localization at the University of Strasbourg.

I'm interested in promoting multiculturalism and diversity and advancing science and technology for the benefit of society. Having lived in the UK for two years and one and a half years in France, I can bring a multicultural perspective to my work.
